August 22: Awakening to Higher Consciousness
- July 25th: Intro to metaphysics-Guest KC Goldberg
We are taping a live show with an audience next Sunday, May 18th in Denver. We would love for you to be in our audience! It will be from 2pm-4pm at the Victorian Playhouse at 4201 Hooker Street, Denver 80211 (just a few blocks west of 42nd and Federal). Our topic for the taping is, what else, INTUITION! As usual, we will be giving a few audience members short readings. Hope to see you there!
This week’s topic? Children are psychic. If any of you have kids with “imaginary friends” you know what we mean! Please phone in with your stories of psychic kids. We will also be giving away 2 tickets to see Iyanla Vanzant in Fort Collins, CO at Lincoln Center on May 19th and 2 for the show in Seattle, WA at Benaroya Hall on May 20th.
Okay listeners, for anyone that heard Friday’s show, you know now first hand just how giddy Maru and I can get! It’s true, Maru wants “fresh” cow pies. For all of you who are wondering if chocolate cow pies exist, check out this link http://www.baraboocandy.com/ A friend pointed out to me just how much folks in Wisconsin love cows. It IS called the dairy state, for crying out loud! There is a reason there are cheeseheads…all the cheese…from the dairy…from the cows???? Excellent, we’re all on the same page. So, there is actually a statewide cow chip (dried cow pie-REAL cow pie, not chocolate ones) throwing contest (and festival) every year in Prairie du Sac. I swear. Check it out. http://www.wiscowchip.com/ Now, THERE are some humans who know what makes their spirits happy and aren’t afraid to show it! I am certain most of you have heard of cow tipping. Thankfully, I’ve never witnessed it nor do I endorse it. In my family, we have a much more subtle way of showing how strange humans can be. We simply stop in front of a field of cows, if there are a few near to the road, roll down our windows and moo. I am certain the cows laugh at us, on the inside at least. I’m certain. But, it makes our spirits happy to connect with the bovines for that brief moment and let out our primal moo’s. Ahhh….the good life!
